All taken in our top garden with my Panasonic GH1 and adapted manual focus macro lenses (Tokina and Vivitar).
However much of a pest it is Pieris rapae is still charming.
Taken with a 40 year old Tamron 135mm lens on my Panasonic GH1. Pictures taken after a cold wet night with a Tamron 24mm Adaptall lens (that cost a whole $11 including post) on my old Panasonic GH1. The roses are the hunting ground for a number of these little monsters.
I've been active in the garden with my new macro set up; an old Vivitar 55mm f2.8 lens adapted to a Panasonic GH1 micro four thirds camera body. A very cheap and very good bit of kit. |
