So anyway, we're in the middle of one of our regular walks up to Scott Memorial which overlooks Port Chalmers and Otago Harbour in general toward the Pacific. You can catch up from the beginning and see the route here.
It's a bit fucking steep once you get on the hill but we're here for our sanity as well as the burn of shrieking short twitch fibres, so there was a stop at Lady Thorn Dell, a disused quarry. It was in full bloom and that shit is balm to the troubled mind so take some time to look at the shoot we did there.

ABOVE Mysterious natural phenomena.
ABOVE & LEFT A big-arse unknown mushroom and some honey fungus. They are apparently delicious but can also give you torrential diarrhoea (have you ever tried so spell that fucking word from scratch before? I dare you) so we left them alone.
BELOW Done at a crawl, this route isn't too much of a challenge but when you're punching it for the sake of your health you feel as though your lungs are about to burst out of your mouth at this point. That glow at the end of the tunnel might as well be Elysium's porchlight for all you fucking care. Nearly there...
