| | By far the best version of this immortal song. I don't know why anyone ever thought it needed instrumentation. I cannot think of a superlative equal to Gerrard's range and technique and for that reason alone I'm grateful even for DCD's most indulgent tripe. Imagine being able to express yourself in this manner, like an oracle pouring forth the buried language of the earth. Perhaps you can, and in that case, thank your lucky stars.
