Haven't done a Beauty Week for a while and I've got a few cosmetic posts burning a hole in my drafts file and that combined with general late summer mental deficiency means...  I forget what it means, because seasonal fucking überdurr.  Did I say that already or just think it?

R's been taking some really beautiful shots in the garden lately, the header being a little taste of that goodness.  That shit is straight out of the camera.  I'll let him finish up with the lilies and Echinopsis and maybe post some of that next week.  Or finish off the West Coast holiday series.

It's Waitangi weekend here in New Zealand which mmm probably a 4th of July/US or... er... what's the English equivalent?  St George's Day?  Dunno.  Anyway, it's three days long and full of getting shitfaced at the beach if you're

young or doing crap around the house that needs to get done before autumn if you're old and thusly encumbered.  Which is another reason for all the bloody Barbie posts.  Anyway, enjoy Sausaged As, a wee taste of New Zealand on this our holiest of secular holidays.  And some Mint Chicks.
