Here's a few of the Rebutia and Sulcorebutia species/hybrids I've picked up along the way. They're an uncomplaining little cadre, flowering a wee bit less than is ultimately achievable (some of the show plants you'll see on the net look like they're exploding) but my experience with other plants tells me that slow and steady wins the race, and that small examples like this will benefit from moderate treatment. Thusly, I keep them in the half-shade they undoubtedly enjoy in situ, being so low to the ground, and grow them dry and slow. |
I've not managed to kill any yet, so you should be alright.
