Two separate fucking words that look almost identical, sound exactly the same and mean something that overlaps what the fuck you may cry, and those were my sentiments exactly. Usually I'm all for recreationally splitting any number of annoying semantic hairs if it means sipping a small flute of schadenfreude before the glittering spectacle of someone else's discomfort, but today the mistake was mine and I just can't help but think the rules should be changed to accommodate my personal shortcomings. So you'll just have to live with my abuse of these particular twins until one loses its temper, clubs the other to death and drags the body behind some bushes, as it was with ask and aks.
It could be worse. The other day I saw someone claiming something was a mute instead of moot point, and if irregardless was a zombie hoard horde, many, many people would be gnawing on cartilage right now. (pic hiconsumption)
